Ethan stared at her.
“You finally decided to show up.”
Claire ignored him. Instead, she handed another folder to the chairman.
“This contains correspondence between Caldwell Capital’s legal advisers and my husband’s office.”
The chairman adjusted his glasses. Several minutes passed as board members silently read.
Then one director looked directly at Ethan.
“What exactly is a ‘Claire Exit Strategy’?”
Ethan froze. His face lost all color.
